Homeless Man sleeping rough in the Middle of Bayswater – Where is thy Dignity London?

In the photo above, you see a homeless man sleeping rough in the Middle of the Pandemic.

His head put on a makeshift pillow made of cardboards and papers. And his body lied on the floor above a brown, opened cardboard box. Covered by a blanket.

Now it is not the way he sleeps that impresses me but the degree in which he has fallen.

And let me say that nothing else can be blamed here except society. For we see others fall every now and then, and it has become a normal thing for us.

We see others suffer, and it does not even bother us. We see others get hurt from Oppression, and we shy away from social responsibility.

And thus, at the end, we wait hidden in our egos and hidden in our Hypocrisies for the next one to fall at this degree. Somehow we wait for our turn. And nothing more.

So, I ask, who is next? Maybe you, maybe me. But what is happening to me seems more than unjust.

And these London councils who support the rich and abuse the poor with high rents and high living standards should think about supporting people before coming to this level. No?
